Interview
First round was multiple choice based. It covered c, c++ and linux concepts, It was straightforward and easy to crack. Be well prepared in basics.
F2F rounds:
1st tech round, they asked me about my current projects and architecture and were happy with my explanations and asked all concepts of c and c ++, (not advanced concepts in c++), Interviewers were happy and gave a remark to HR as selected.
2nd round : HR round, The HR person was horrible, I didn't realize this during interview. He said congratulations and u r selected among 200+ people attended interview today.. also he mentioned dont look for another job and join toshiba only.. He was trying to convince me to join toshiba only and explained how company works etc.. I was also convinced and he asked about notice period.. I mentioned 90days.. he was ok with this as well and told me that he will send offer letter officially in next two days. I waited for one week there is no offer letter.. i called him back several times he ignored but one day he picked mt call and told me that they are not offering me because 90 days notice period is high and hiring manager (who took . my first round interview) cajt wait for 90 days.. HR said.
I was surprised, because in f2f tech round hiring manager also asked me about notice period duration and for 90 days he said ok. He didn't say anything also he gave a remark as selected But this stupid HR screwed it. Not sure why HR played a different game.
Later I contacted one of the guy who took my 1st round f2f interview along with hiring manager, that person told me, They never gave any remarks like its too long to wait for 90 days. They were ok about my notice period and gave remark as selected too. He also said that position is still open and I don't know why HR did like that.
Conducted a multi-stage interview process, including 3 to 4 rounds of interviews, starting with coding assessments followed by 2 technical rounds and one managerial round.Process will took max 2-3 days.
Very delaying process, was postponed several times. Need to follow up a lot, the technical interview was of average difficulty. The overall interview was good but there were a lot of delays.
