I applied for the global internship program. Resume shortlisting followed by an HR interview and then a final interview with the Japan team. The final interview had no technical question whatsoever. It was rather like an extended HR interview. They simply ask if one is familiar with certain technologies or not, and if one answers yes then they don't care enough to verify that by following up with some technical question.

I applied from on campus. First round was CV shortlisting on the basis of academic performance, project works, international exposure(if any). Selected students were called in for a presentation round followed by an interview which consisted of technical questions as well as HR questions. HR questions were very important as the internship location was Japan and hence they wanted to be sure whether the candidate can adjust to the new country. Thus the intervew was more or less HR oriented.
