I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Lexington, KY) in Oct 2024
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me on another website, I was interested and sent over my resume. Received a phone call and was told when my in person interview would be and to dress business professional/business casual. The first in person interview was with the recruiter for a few minutes, walking around the lower floor level, and shadowing one big broker and one smaller broker to ask questions on their experiences. Afterwards you talk again with the recruiter and go over some basic questions as well as why you believe you'd be a good fit for the job. Was told I would receive a phone call if they wanted me back or an email if not. I received a phone call and set up the second in person interview which consisted of a memory test on each state, basic mathematics, and a sit down interview with the main general manager and one other man. I was then walked out and received a final phone call later that evening to accept the position. There is no drug testing involved, there is a background check and reference check. $40,000 base pay with uncapped commission that you received only after the commission exceeds your normal biweekly pay, otherwise you only get the biweekly pay regardless of any commission made. Lots of hard work but if you're very committed then you've got it.
