I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Total Quality Logistics (Tempe, AZ) in Jan 2021
Interview
Very long process. Almost daunting. You will have multiple interview sessions over the phone, a few tests about the company (nothing too hard, they prepare you well for it), a job shadow and an assignment to complete as well before the final interview. During my job shadow I noticed the office was very male dominated and lacked a lot of diversity. Was not a fan of how the last interview seemed more like my interviewer was trying to condescend me rather than actually interview me. I was not shocked by it one bit (he was hardly 5'7). It felt like a big waste of my time, honestly.

Question 1
Why I wanted to have a career change and also, for me to explain why I would be committed to a "field like this"? I was asked this question in about 5 different ways, each incredibly condescendingly. I don't think my male counterparts had to reiterate as much as I did.

The interview process was pretty straightforward. I believe there was a total of about three interviews and then your hired. They will most likely hire you and if you don’t make it through proving grounds that’s when you will get fired

Interview
Multiple phases and conversations. Very money-oriented. If you are interested in building capital, it is a good experience, but they make it clear that the job is a grind. Overall, it is a good interview experience, and they make it clear that you will be thoroughly trained.
