1)Applied via TotalEnergies' job portal, got contacted back via a personal email.
2)Had to pass an online logic personality test, quite interactive and interesting.
3)Following the test, had a video call with one person from recruitment and one from marketing.
Presenting the company, the values, the rebranding, the office.
It was pushy with the questions relative to the personality test despite claiming 'it was just a test': "Do you feel XYZ is true? And ABC?"
Regarding the marketing, it was very vague on the job, didn't seem to know more than the job description and just explained the services and acronyms.
Nothing on the projects, the expertises.
4) The next call invite was scheduled with the Head of Recruitment only to be cancelled 1 hour prior due to internal miscommunication.
Without that faux pas I wouldn't have bothered writing this, but this was plain disrespectful.
Special note during the video call for being judgemental of the time I spent in each of my roles while not understanding internal mobility in the same company was a thing.
The reviews you read here for the Belgium office seem true: huge and slow company, bureaucracy, people being in the company for literally decades, active in so many verticales, using acronyms that were even made fun of during the interview.
