I was contacted by a recruiter for the position via LinkedIn-I didn't apply. Scheduled a phone call with said recruiter, who was pleasant, and we briefly spoke about my work experience and what my job search has been like since graduating college. After describing my experience, the recruiter told me I'd be a good fit for a couple of open positions, and then sent me some descriptions of both via email. After reading over them, I contacted her, telling her which position I thought I'd be a better fit for. Then I never heard back from her. After contacting her twice via email, and twice via phone. I understand being a corporate recruiter involves a lot of moving pieces and multiple contacts, but it's really not that hard to be professional. You expect to get ghosted by Tinder matches, not so-called "professionals" in the working world. Seriously, not so much as an auto-generated email stating that I wasn't a good fit. Do better. Be more professional. This company has done this to me twice in the span of a year, and I should've learned from the first time around.
