I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Townsquare Interactive (Charlotte, NC) in May 2014
Interview
Process was very quick. Attended their Open House Wednesday, had a second interview Friday, and a third interview the following Monday. Second interview involved a small quiz to examine your social media and SEO knowledge/ skills along with a pretend phone conversation with a client. Their Open House is a general presentation to all attendees and then a quick 1:1 meeting with a hiring manager. Second interview was two 1:1 interviews and the third was a 1:1 interview with upper management.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Townsquare Interactive (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2015
Interview
The process didn't take long as far as getting in for an interview. It definitely seemed like a cool place to work and the interview was actually easy for me and the questions weren't that difficult. The first person that interviewed me was cool and the second person that came in the room to interview me came in cursing so i thought that was very unprofessional. it doesn't matter how laid-back you want the work environment to be. Cursing while giving an interview is very unacceptable. I think they should give a better description as far as what the job in tails for the digital specialist. In the description they say its mostly customer service and they are looking for someone with good customer service skills but they also want someone who is knowledgeable about SEO. Because in the interview they give you an assessment thats all SEO and social media questions. The first person that interviewed me told me to not really worry about the assessment so I thought maybe they just used it to test where your knowledge was at with SEO. The position doesn't say you have to have some knowledge about social media or SEO. I understood what the company did as a whole but I figured they would teach some things about SEO. So pretty much when it came down to it they told me that they loved my personality and but as far as how I did on the assessment, they didn't think I was a good fit. I thought that was slightly unfair and if i would have know the assessment would be asking those types of questions I would have done some research on SEO and social media. Instead of thinking I was interviewing for a customer service position.
