      Digital Marketing Specialist Interview

      Feb 16, 2016
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Townsquare Interactive in Jan 2016

      Interview

Lengthy and unproductive. I went on four interviews with this company I was being considered for multiple roles, I started out with an Inside Sales Representative role, then they decided I would be better suited in the Client Services Department, one role was Digital Marketing Specialist and the other was SEO Specialist. On each interview I was asked the same questions over and over by different people and if it wasn't the same questions it was a crazy question having nothing to do with anything like "how many golf balls will it take to fill up this office?" I went through four rounds of interviews changing my schedule and took their placement test that they said I did "very well" on, only to get an email stating they have decided to go forward with another candidate. One month later I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for a phone interview for Inside Sales role again! Then on the day of the interview I was emailed that they had already interviewed me too recently for me to be considered for another interview. I asked in an email wny I was not chosen in the original interview process, so that I may work on my skills for the future I was not contacted back. This company in my opinion was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! They will waste your time without any consideration. I have never wrote a review in my life but I felt the need to write one in this case. Hope this helps.

      Interview

It was three interviews. One from each department head then one from the head VP. Was pretty simple and the questions were quite easy. A three-phase interview typically consists of three distinct stages: the initial screening, the in-depth interview, and the final decision-making process. In the initial screening phase, candidates are evaluated based on their resumes, application forms, and possibly a brief phone or video interview. Those who pass this stage are then invited for an in-depth interview, where they are assessed on their skills, experience, and cultural fit. This interview may involve behavioral-based questions, technical assessments, and panel interviews. Finally, the hiring team reviews the feedback from the interviewers and makes a decision on the most suitable candidate for the position.
