It was a phone interview that lasted around 30 mins. There were a few generic interview questions. I spoke with two people unfortunately the company is no longer in business. I would have liked to work there
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Wayne, NJ) in May 2011
Interview
First I interviewed with a Human Resources person for about 45 minutes and at the end of that she said she wanted me to come in for an interview. I lived pretty far away so they did give mileage reimbursement. I met with 3 different people at 3 different times one right after the other. I met with the print person in graphic design first who told me about their newspaper inserts and the process they go through and she only asked me 1 or 2 questions. The second person was in the .com area and asked the required questions, which were more behavioral questions like "Describe a time when you had a problem with working in a team and how you handled it". The third person was also in the .com area and asked the normal questions like strengths, weaknesses, and how you deal with stress. They were all extremely friendly so don't be scared! Afterwards the human resources person took me on a tour of the place. Their headquarters are beautiful.
