The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Gainesville, FL) in Sep 2011
Interview
I got a call for an interview about a week after applying for the job and asked if I could come in on one of two dates and times they had. They did tell me ahead of time that it would be a group interview and asked if that was okay with me. There were 3 parts of the interview process for me but I don't believe that's the same for everyone. The first day was the group interview where we introduced ourselves and did some exercises given to us by the HR manager. One exercise was to get two items from the sales floor and explain how we would relate to it and sell it to a customer. The next thing we did was to describe another product but one we didn't pick and explain what a customer might want to know about it and how we would sell the item to them. And the last part of the group interview was to build a puzzle together but we couldn't see the picture side of the puzzle. The last part of the interview process for the day we were interviewed individually by the store manager and the HR manager together. Before entering the room for the final part they asked me if i could bring a box into the room when i was called. It was obviously a test to see if i could lift a certain amount of weight and if I lifted the box properly because I would be dealing with unloading the truck and stocking the sales floor. For that part of the interview I felt that they were pretty open and friendly and I felt I did really well because of that. After thatI just had to come back in a week because the supervisor that I would work directly with wasn't there and they like to meet the employees they would be working with. I agreed to come back and I did. I did the 1:1 interview with my potential supervisor but I didn't get a good vibe from him even though I did well with the questions asked. After that I was told I would hear back soon but I never did. Which I suspected as much because normally they would do a drug test by the end of that interview if they were going to hire me. I just wish they had the courtesy to let me know sooner rather than later and even then I was informed via email more than a month later. Not even the courtesy to let me know sooner.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us
Interview
Easy one on one with a manager in the store to talk about capacity and responsibility. Along with this, it was questions of motivation for warking at the company and what hours I could work.

Interview
I applied on Indeed. They called and scheduled me an interview, then emailed me to reschedule it which was fine. I came in well dressed. The interviewee before me came in jeans and a t-shirt and was offered a job, so I over dressed apparently. She didn’t seem very interested in my answers, it came off almost as she was going to hire me no matter what I said. Maybe they were really short on overnight stickers.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (West Covina, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
Group interview. Introduce yourself, pick a toy off sales floor and sell it to interviewer, get in a team and use building toys to build something together, then 1 on 1 interview.
