Interview with store manager was the first interview. Later, I was interviewed by some corporate managers (this was unique as this was during a time when a major toy retailers CEO has come on boards and they were reorganizing) Being enthusiastic definitely worked in my favor, also being direct and bold when negotiating pay. I was able to get $3 an hour more than most were making at the time. Never, ever be afraid to ask for what you are worth.
