I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Pretty easy. When you walk in they had us sit at a table (7-8 of us) we went around saying our favorite childhood toy and why. We built a building out of blocks and had to explain why we built it. We pick a toy from a table and had to sell it to our interviewers.
After this, they had us wait outside and if they called your name you were free to go (didn't get the job). Their was about 4 people who stayed including me and they called us into the room one by one and asked us like 2-3 questions and gave us the job description and offered us the job.
Super nice and friendly interviewer. They told me about the company and the position and asked a few questions. They also let me ask some questions at the end as well
Geoffrey was attentive and kind. Guided me through the whole catalog. Would recommend him all the time, every time to whomever will listen. He took the time to explain the great deals.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (London, England)
Interview
Standard interview with competency questions, especially communication skills, and gauging if candidate would be a good fit for the company culture. After the interview received a call within 2 weeks.
