Interview
After filling out an application, I was called in for an interview about a week later. I arrived to store that morning and saw all of the other potential employees waiting in a group. A few minutes later, one of the hr's came out and asked us to follow down to the break room. When we got to the room, we were all seated into groups. He spoke to us about who he was and what the company stood for, what they were looking for and mad a few jokes which made us all a little more comfortable. He handed out two pieces of paper with some markers. With the first sheet, he asked us to write our names and decorate it as best as we could and place them in front of us so he could see them. On the second sheet he asked us to partner up with whoever was sitting across from us at the table . We had to find our their name, what their favorite color was, their favorite movie and their favorite toy growing up as a kid. Once it was time to share with everybody he asked us to stand up and introduce our partners one at a time. I thought it was a nice ice breaker. Once we finished that,, he handed out huge buckets of legos to each table and asked us to create something futuristic. Me and my group built an all in one transportation system, a plane, bus and a car lol. It was pretty fun. After we presented what our groups had came up with, it was finally time to get down to work. He introduced us to two other guys, recruiters i guess. . and called us all up one by one to discuss our availabilities. Once that was done we could leave. I never received a call back which surprised me because I tried my best to smile and be enthusiastic as I can and my availability was pretty much open.
