      HRDS Interview

      Jun 26, 2009
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us in Jun 2009

      Interview

My direct supervisor recommended me for the position. I had to provide a resume and fill out an online management profile form. The store manager had to complete the form. Once that was done, the hiring store called me for a face-to-face interview. I first met with the assistant manager that asked me "tell me about you" and "what if" type questions that were on a form. Then I met with the store manager who asked some of the same questions and then some of the management 'style' questions (i.e.; as a manager, how do you motivate employees). I also met with the District HR manager for an informal "what are your goals" meeting.

      Question 1

None---most of the questions were standard and geared to allow me to demonstrate excellent past performance
