Submitted an application (at some point they transitioned to online application, was a physical one back in 2006) and was contacted several months later for an interview (the store here tends to hire two times a year: throughout the holiday season and keeping some that performed well around after it ends and usually again at the end of spring (~May) as summer shopping picks up and people graduate and leave).
Had a group interview with three others. It was a long time ago so the only memorable part of it was when they brought in some sample products and, after a few minutes to familiarize ourselves with a product, we had to give a sales pitch for the product.
