I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Columbia, SC) in Nov 2012
Interview
Had phone interview with a recruiter, then interviewed in person with regional hr mgr, and then ultimately with regional mgr.
questions were pretty standard and they were clearly trying to get a sense of who you were.
They spent a LOT of selling me on who Toys R Us supposedly was and how they wanted someone with my experience somewhere else to help them take TRU to another level (I later figured out they don't want any input because they feel like they know everything).
Easy. Standard questions about work history and aspiration. What is my work history and am I the right fit. Work environment and availability and Myers Briggs and fans and toys
3 interviews. Often with multiple people. Simple and straight forward minimal problems or issues. About history and expectations of the comp y. Very easy. Kind people. 4 manager interview sometimes. So can be complicated
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us
Interview
Easy in store interview. Just simple straight forward questions.the manager at the time was ok. Friendly and clam.took a few days to get back too me but I declined the offer.
