I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Dallas, TX) in Dec 2014
Interview
I did the applicant at 4 in the morning and recieved a call the same day at noon for an interview. The interview was a group interview with a manager and his assistant. They interviewed me and 4 others. Basically the manager talked about what to expect and asked us to tell something about ourselves and that was pretty much it. He got our information for a background check and said he'll call when they come back. I got a call two days later for orientation then the day after orientation was called and they said they had extra hours so i could come in that night if i wanted.
It was fine. It was open interview so there were other people in attendance. Not much to it I guess. General Manager was pretty nice and respectful. Grade A personality
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Manchester, CT) in Sep 2016
Interview
It was a group interview with 4 others in the room with me. Very laid back, all they had us do was introduce ourselves and tell what our favorite childhood toy was. After that, we had to interview the person next to us, and come up with our own question, which after each person read off the question asked, then their answer. Overall very easy and friendly.
