      Cashier Interview

      Anonymous employee
      North Brunswick, NJ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (North Brunswick, NJ) in Sep 2010

      Interview

Applied online on a Saturday, got a phone call 2 days later on Monday. Phone call consisted of setting up an interview for the next day, was also asked a few questions over the phone. Came in the next morning for the interview. Me and one other person were taken into an office by the hiring manage and we were asked a few questions. I was then sent to wait at the baby registry while the hiring manager interviewed the other person. While I was waiting, 2 other people came in and waited to be interviewed. When it was my turn I met 1 on 1 with the hiring manager, then with the assistant manager, and finally the store manager. after about 1 1/2 hrs. the interview was completed and I felt like my interview went great. About 4 hours later the hiring manager called to tell me they were offering me the job, I just have to wait for the background check before I start, but everything on my background should be clear, so I should be starting very soon.
