Interview
Very awkward interview process. You start out in a group setting and are asked to talk about your favorite childhood toy and your favorite place to eat and why. Then there were 1:1 interviews, actually, 1:2 because both the HR "assistant" and the store manager interview you. They ask you a series of questions that really do not relate to the job such as "how did you get people to trust you when you sold insurance" referencing my insurance background. Overall, very unprofessional. Ended up hiring people without any retail experience on the spot. Overheard the HR assistant say "i am really diggin' those clothes you have on"... so if that is any indication of the level of unprofessional-ism. Also, do not use big words in your interview because the managers that work there will have no idea what you are talking about since most are uneducated.
Super nice and friendly interviewer. They told me about the company and the position and asked a few questions. They also let me ask some questions at the end as well
Geoffrey was attentive and kind. Guided me through the whole catalog. Would recommend him all the time, every time to whomever will listen. He took the time to explain the great deals.
