I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us in Nov 2010
Interview
Well a day after I applied online I was contacted by phone by their human resource person to scheduled a group interview.
The interview it self was very easy. First the interviewer passed around a roll of toilet paper and everyone had to take some. When everyone had some we each had to tell a fact about ourselves for each piece of toilet paper we had.
Then we were split into groups and were told to put together a puzzle to see how we would work together as a team. This was the easiest part to me.
After that we each had to go on the sales floor and pick out one item, review and then try to sell it to another one of the people that we were interviewing with.
All in all I think that it was a nice laid back no formal interview.
Super nice and friendly interviewer. They told me about the company and the position and asked a few questions. They also let me ask some questions at the end as well
Geoffrey was attentive and kind. Guided me through the whole catalog. Would recommend him all the time, every time to whomever will listen. He took the time to explain the great deals.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (London, England)
Interview
Standard interview with competency questions, especially communication skills, and gauging if candidate would be a good fit for the company culture. After the interview received a call within 2 weeks.
