I applied online, and within only a few hours, I got a call back. They asked me a couple questions, then told me to come in a few days later for a group interview. I was nervous, since I've never been in a group interview, so I researched here on Glassdoor, and found lots of helpful interview reviews. I went in knowing what to expect somewhat, so that made me feel much better. I went in about 15 minutes early, and they told me to browse in the store until they called us over the intercom. When they called us, there were about 7 people, including me. We all went into a room, and from there, the HR manager told us to pick a word that describes us using the first letter of our name. Then she told us to find a toy/item, and we would have to sales pitch it to her as if she was the customer. We all picked a toy/item, and took turns sales pitching it to her. Afterwards, we had to "interview" the person sitting across from us, and then read it aloud. After that, she gave us a lego toy and we had to put it together, the way it was on the box. We had to work together as a team to put it back together. After we finished that, she had to deliberate and see who would do the individual interview with the store manager. She called three people out, and they left. Then it was me and three others left. I was second to meet with the manager, and he was very polite and easygoing. He asked me a few questions, and then told me that he would have the HR call me back once the background check went through and everything looked good. I felt like it was overall a great experience, and I can't wait to begin working there!
