I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (Cleveland, OH) in Nov 2015
Interview
It was a group interview with a total of 3 people and an HR representative. The HR representative left the room and gave us time to get to know each other and interview ourselves. When she came back in we had to tell her why the other persons should be hired based off of what we just briefly learned. She then gave us some toys to choose from and we had to pick one of the options and try to sell it to her. After that we did one-on-one interviews with her, in which she just asked some questions pertaining to our availability and whatever else she wanted to know about us. The interview was fairly easy and the group I was with were really cool people and we all got the job.

Make a new toy with these LEGO’s and try to sell it
Smooth and very friendly. You can say that it was a fun interview, at first with the human resources manager and the second was with the store manager also. They were both really friendly and it felt like having a normal conversation. I loved working for TRU
