Very easy and quick interview process of 3 video interviews: one with recruiter, one with hiring manager, and one with potential teammate. The initial call went through list of screener questions, process details, and left some time for questions while the other two calls were relatively conversational in structure. What turned the experience from positive to negative was the lack of communication. Interviewing was done in little over a week from start to finish. During that time, the recruiter was quite responsive and the feedback from each call was positive. I was notified that it may take longer than it had been to get a final update. After nothing for a couple of weeks, I reached out to the team for an update. I was told that things were still being finalized and that an update will hopefully go out within a week. Weeks later, I still never received any update, never heard from the recruiter since prior to the final interview, and see a post from the company welcoming their new hires (including said position). People are going to do what they're going to do and companies don't owe you anything but you would think that they would at least be transparent, having gone through the entire process. Especially when one of their cultural values is around "Serving Others".
