The Interview Process was Rigorous with Resume Shortlisting, HR Screening of Application , Telephonic round of Interview , First Round of Technical Interview consisting of two panel Interviews , I cleared all above stages and reached the Final Round of Interview again consisting of two panel interview but this time via Video Conferencing with the global heads of Trafigura in Geneva.
All the Interview rounds were Stress Interview, they just wanted to check the Behaviour of the Interviewee under Pressure. Cases where given without any data and Interviewers were not at all convinced with my reflection of the Case.
Multiple stages, the first of which involved a series of 4 interviews with different departments including operations finance trading and human resources. Was eliminated at the first stage so not familiar with the following stages.

Questions on resume, derivatives, commodity trading, futures, options, analytical puzzles and maths questions.
Good understanding of commodity trading industry and what Trafigura does is very important.

i applied in their portal and received a call from HR saying they have a different role which suits my profile. I was given a Pre-interview Questionnaire which has be filled and sent before interview. They asked things like why Trafigura? what suggestions you have for Trafigura future investments and the interview was mostly on International Finance concepts like Derivatives etc.
