Started with a brief phone call with an HR rep to discuss background and do a bit of a culture fit. They were very polite and definitely made me interested in the company.
Next was a take-home Android project. It took me about five hours or so to complete, but I also needed to refresh myself on a couple of topics so if I did it again it would take much less time. After that was a video call with the hiring manager and several other developers. This was a combination of talking about the take-home assessment and detailed discussions about technical experience and background. The team was super nice and further made me interesting in the company.
Next was another call with HR and we discussed an on-site interview, which I did. Their office was super impressive, and I got to meet a ton of awesome people throughout the day. Questions were much more behavioral/background focused; there wasn't any whiteboard questions.
I got an offer and was super excited to join the team and move to Boulder, but I also ended up getting a dream offer from a different company so I decided to not accept.
