Day 1 - Approached by the recruiter via phone and email. Made plans for a video call for the next day Day 2 - Completed video call expressing further interest in the position. The recruiter requested paperwork/information from me to provide to her client (TransCore) Day 13 - Interview with TransCore employees. Received offer contingent on results of a background check and drug test. Also, received a small amount of company literature and payroll setup. Completed all required paperwork and submitted information for a background check. Day 16 - Took the drug test Day 23 - Received results of the drug test and background check as well as the first-day information Day 26 - First-day at TransCore All around an easy enough experience, I knew what to expect every step of the way. That's how it went for me getting hired on as a contractor. It only took this long because of previous jobs elongating what should be a short verification process. From my viewpoint, there wasn't anything TransCore or my recruiter could do to push it along.
