Interview
Completed assessment online and then was invited for a video call with the hiring manager.
On the morning of the scheduled meeting I received an email from HR saying the hiring manager had to reschedule for later that day as they were busy. A bit short notice, but ok, not a problem.
Later that afternoon after I had to cancel arrangements to be available for the interview, I logged in and sat in the meeting room for an hour. No one showed up.
I emailed the company rep I had been in contact with to inform them that the hiring manager now has not met two of their commitments to discuss this role with me - They advised they really wanted to interview, they apologised on behalf of the hiring manager and confirmed they would be in touch to reschedule, and I have heard nothing back.
I don't think the current hiring manager is a good judge of who would be a good and reliable candidate for a role if they cannot meet their own commitments, and cannot apologise themselves for wasting other people's time.
