      I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Transact Campus in Feb 2025

      I recently interviewed for the Partner Marketing Manager role at Transact Campus, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The first interview with the Talent Acquisition representative was a poor first impression. He was 10 minutes late to call, and when I followed up via email to confirm the time, he responded with a vague "sorry something came up" before calling me immediately. It was clear he had forgotten about our scheduled conversation. Additionally, he hadn't reviewed my resume beforehand, as the questions he asked were very basic and could have been answered just by glancing at my experience. The second interview was directly with the VP of Marketing, which struck me as an unusual jump in the process. That being said, she was a pleasure to speak with, and I genuinely enjoyed our conversation. However, after the interview, I followed up via email with the recruiter to inquire about the next steps or whether they had moved forward with another candidate. I never received a response. In my opinion, failing to follow up—even with a simple rejection—is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the company’s hiring process. While I understand that companies get busy, candidates invest their time in interviews and deserve basic communication in return. Overall, the disorganization and lack of professionalism from the Talent Acquisition side would make me hesitant to pursue opportunities with Transact Campus in the future. Would I recommend interviewing here? Based on my experience, probably not.
