I just wanted to communicate the experience I had. I was contacted by a TransAmerica recruiter. I was asked to discuss my candidacy for a position with them at an agreed upon date and time. The recruiter failed to contact me at the agreed upon date and time as specified in the meeting invitation. I was contacted by the recruiter immediately after the first missed appointment, apologized for missing the appointment and requested to reschedule for a different day. Hours after the second missed interview and not receiving any contact from the recruiter, I reached out to the recruiter. The recruiter was again apologetic and requested to reschedule for later the same day. Yet again, the recruiter missed the third appointment that same day at a time requested by the recruiter a few hours earlier. I was 'confirmed' for each appointment. The recruiter scheduled and rescheduled an interview 3 times and failed to keep every appointment.
I have never experienced anything like this. If this is how TransAmerica treats prospective new employees, I am scared to think how they treat their most valuable resource - their current employees.
