1 HR screen via phone
2 Manager interviews via phone
1 In-Office panel interview with 6 current employees (team member, manager of another team, manager of my manager, my manager, hiring director, AVP)
The HR screen was very basic: just talked about resume and experience. The first manager interview was almost entirely technical questions from financial mathematics topics. He was really looking for computer skills as well, particularly Excel VBA. The second manager interview was more basic again, just resume and personality questions. The panel seemed uninterested in having a candidate (me) in office. They did not seem to have prepared well for my interviews due to lack of time and interest. For example, one of my interviewers admitted she was leaving the company because she found another job, another was 40 minutes late, and another repeated the same questions from the phone interview. The panel experience was not great. I was not surprised when I was not hired.
