I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Transfinder (Schenectady, NY) in Feb 2014
Interview
The hiring process was impressively well structured. It's a multiple interview process, consisting of a phone screening, in person interviews, and reference and background checks. They ask good, relevant questions to ensure the job candidates are not only qualified, but also a good personality match for the company. The interviews are held at headquarters, and candidates are welcomed and given a tour so they also have the opportunity to decide if Transfinder is a good fit for them.

Q: Which book has had the biggest impact on your life and why?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Transfinder (Austin, TX) in Nov 2021
Interview
The process seemed to be industry standard but with a twist. I say this because it was a 4-tier interview: Phone screen with recruiter, then a manager, then an ops manager, then with the COO.

Question 1
Basic interview questions about experience and scenario based. There wasn't a clear way to approach this interview because you're communicating with people and they are trying to connect with you on a personal level.
I did well the first three interviews but was not offered the role after speaking with the COO. The feedback that I had to truly press for was scathing in nature (my skillset would not propel the business forward) despite the COO himself saying that he didn't have industry experience in the very role I applied when he started, and I offered an idea which management and the COO stated was a great idea for their safety standards in their software.
