Open ended design challenge. Design brief given, but not many constraints which is difficult because it's unpaid work but you want to put your best foot forward (not knowing what other candidates may be doing). In my opinion, design challenges should either be timed and in-person (such as whiteboarding sessions) or be take home and paid.
