Interview
The interview process was a technical round focused on data engineering fundamentals. I was asked to explain Spark architecture in detail, discuss approaches for parsing JSON data, and write a SQL query to identify three consecutive numbers in a dataset.
It was rigrous and checked depth of understanding in each of the concepts. It basically checked your conceptual clarity and your speed as questions were moderate . You should go for it !!
The interview process for Data Engineer role at Tredence consisted of 4-5 rounds. It started with an Online Assessment (Aptitude + SQL + 1 Coding question) on HackerEarth. Then there was a Communication round. Followed by 2 Technical rounds focusing heavily on SQL, PySpark, and basic DSA. Final HR round discussed salary and company policies. The process was smooth but technical rounds were quite challenging.
