I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tredence (Bengaluru) in Nov 2014
Interview
Started with a call from HR team where he explained me the JD and the role in the company and then an interview was scheduled on a day suggested by me. Interview happened in Costa Coffee located close to the office which comprised of 3 rounds.
First Round - I was asked 6-7 puzzles ranging from easy puzzles to tough ones. I managed to solve all the puzzles in this round.
I was asked if I could wait for some more time for another round. I agreed.
Second Round - This round was a technical round which was taken by one of the manager from the company. He asked me about the projects I had done in my previous company in detail. Basically he tried to get if I actually had knowledge of what I had done or not. Along with that he asked me technical questions for which I had to write a code. The round went on for 1 hour after which he told me that I was through that round and my next and last round will be with the co-founder and head of analytics of the company.
Third Round - I was a bit nervous for this round as I did not have any clue about how the dynamics of how this round was going to be. But once the round started I became very comfortable as the co-founder was very calm and composed and was trying to discuss my career path and my long term goals rather than grilling me on my skills. He did ask me about my projects and in fact impressed me then and there by telling some alternative better approaches.
After discussing for approx. 45 minutes he offered me the job and asked me to think before making the decision. He asked me to take 2 days to think and then let them know my decision.
Final Result - Accepted the offer
