I called in after applying on line to set up a time for an interview. The associate on the line said he would let his manager know when his Manager got back from his lunch break. Note: It was past 3 when I made the call. I waited and called back and didn't hear anything a week later. Then two weeks pass by and the manager finally calls and informs me the position had been filled. I am disappointed by such a slow response and am glad not to be working at the trek location. If this is how the treat potential employees I am glad to move on. I am concerned for how they treat customers as well as that was a big issue at the location I applied for. This is a great way for people to eliminate you from their job search and I do appreciate the ease in which I had in removing them from my list.
It started with conversations about brand alignment and personal strength. And they asked questions including how to create good customer experience, how to define meaningful customer service. And the last part was about future plans
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Trek Bicycle (Santa Clarita, CA) in Jul 2024
Interview
Fairly standard interview process. Just asking about your background and if you have any knowledge about bicycles. My interview was in person with the store manager. It ran like a very generic interview with questions you can easily look up online.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trek Bicycle (Vancouver, BC) in May 2023
Interview
They asked me about my previous experience, what I already knew about trek bikes, i almost knew everything about the different types of bikes, they asked me if I worked before on the bike industry
