Trellisware Technologies Sales Manager interview questions

Was asked to sit down with a number of sales staff and executives for the company over dinner. I was led to believe that it was an informal meet. It however turned into an uncomfortable experience at a very loud dinner party. Without prior warning, was put on the spot about specific goals for sales revenue increase over the current sales. Overall felt hostile and that the executives were uninterested in hiring. I was not sure of the point of the interview.
