Applied for the position and went through all the assessments. These include a Cognitive, English speaking, C++ coding and a final additional coding module. Within a day or so of passing those assessments, I was offered an interview via a scheduling software emailed in a link. Arranged the interview with Leonhard Holtz via Zoom. On the day of the interview, Leonhard was very pleasant and affable. At the beginning of the the interview Leonhard explained the meeting is being recorded for review, of which I didn't have a problem with that, and I took the opportunity to explain that I am partially deaf and use a plug in to generate subtitles and that if I take a second or two to reply, it is because I am reading the subtitles to ensure I understand the questions. Again, Leonhard was very understanding and accommodating towards that. In terms of the interview questions, there weren't any trick questions and they were very matter-of-fact to understand my experience, technical difficulties, and triumphs using C++ within the real World environment. Albeit that I was not successful in the interview, and disappointed to not attain a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, the actual screening and interview process was very pleasant and robust. It is understandable why they use the process that they do as it is apparent that all the staff they hire are literally the top 1% and therefore a strong process and protocol-driven hiring procedure is required.
