Went fairly quickly from the first into phone interview, which went really well. All the way to the actual first video interview, which is where things didn't go as well. I was supposed to be interviewed by 3 people, one of which I would have actually been reporting to. Only 2 were able to make it (the one not to show would have been my boss) which is what it is, but would have been nice to meet them. Had about a 45 minute conversation, which I thought went well. Was told they wanted to move quickly on this. Reached out after a few days to clarify who I would be reporting to and if I could send a thank you follow up to those I met with. To this day of posting, in Nov. I have not heard back at all. Safe to say I'm not crossing my fingers about getting the role. But even if I was not to get it, it would have been nice to hear something back, even an automated email at least.

4 rounds in total: talent person, HM and 2 panels with both teams I was supposed to work with. The process moved very fast, they moved an offer in less than 4 weeks. I complimented the talent person several times, he shared all the information about the job, company, people I was going to meet and gave me access to the platform technical documentation which helped me prepare very well. Also, I did prepare 2 different presentations and he helped me through the process by sending multiple questions to the HM.

How do you prioritize between legacy and modern roadmap items?
The interview process was a struggle to get a date and time and took a week to finally get it scheduled. The day of the call the recruiter CANCELED the interview ONE MINUTE before the call! I was left hanging with a canceled meeting notice with a note "Unfortunately we would not be able to match your salary requirements for this role. Let me know if you have further questions." WTH!!! So unprofessional and disrespectful!
