The interview process for a BMET position at Trinity Health included a combination of technical and behavioral interviews. It began with a phone screening to assess general qualifications and experience in maintaining and repairing biomedical equipment. I was then invited to an in-person interview with the hiring manager. This interview focuses on technical skills and my ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of medical devices, including ventilators, defibrillators, and patient monitoring systems. I was asked situational and problem-solving questions to demonstrate how I would approach equipment malfunctions and preventive maintenance tasks. Additionally, I had questions asked about my knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and my experience working in a healthcare setting.
