Applied on LinkedIn, received an email not long after setting up an in person interview. Not standard practice for a first interview nowadays, but I’m a recent grad and was excited. Had to buy new pants and everything. I went their (very nice) facility where I had an hour long interview that I thought went fine. I had to pay for parking at their facility and they did not offer to validate. I did not expect to get the job, but I did expect some kind of correspondence after the fact. I sent follow up thank you notes to both interviewers and one of them added me back on LinkedIn. Still, not even a rejection email. Very unprofessional and rude, in my opinion. If you’re gonna blow people off, don’t make them drive to your office and pay for parking.
