First applied online and then had a video chat interview via Skype. It felt pretty relaxed, and the people were all pleasant. They asked primarily fit questions; pleasant experience overall.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tripadvisor (Boston, MA) in Feb 2016
Interview
Talked to a software engineer at my college career fair. Asked about my hobbies, then asked me to pseudo code removing from single linked list. Then asked me a few data structure questions (mainly trees). Was not expecting that at a career fair but the guy was really nice and cheerful. After a week I got an email to set a time and date for a skype technical interview. The technical interviewer seemed really tired and barely talked. When explaining my logic or asking questions the interviewer's attitude was indifference. Pretty standard I guess, luck of the draw when interviewing. Overall first person I interviewed with was amazing and the second one was not good.
