I had a single phone call interview. We mostly discussed my past experience and the position I was applying for. Everything went extremely well. We discussed my salary requirement, the interviewer said they could top that and that I should expect an offer in two days. After one day I sent a follow up email with my understanding that the offer would come in one day and that I would like to drive up to Cincinnati and meet people in person. Friday came and went without a phone call or email. I waited a few days called, and left a voice mail with the interviewer. Then I waited a week and texted the interviewer at the phone number where the interview was conducted. I did get a response telling me that the individual was busy and would call later. No call ever came. I waited one more week and texted that I felt they were no longer interested in me, could they please explain why? I never got an answer. I'm glad that I didn't do anything stupid with my current job.
