I interviewed at Troutman Pepper Hamilton in May 2024
Interview
I received an offer after an EXTENSIVE interview process, about 3 months long with 5 separate interviews. Throughout the process they were glaring red flags, I was asked painfully personal and sometimes inappropriate questions, I was made to feel inferior and helpless at every corner... I assumed that this was a part of a vetting process because the particular position I was going for was very high stress and required tons of composure.
After I accepted the offer, I worked with them to establish my start-date since I was getting married and going on my honeymoon. Well, a month after I accepted the offer, while I was on my honeymoon, I received a call that my offer was being rescinded. To this day I have never received an explanation, an apology, nothing. My background check had cleared and there was no reason why the offer should have been rescinded. My only advice to anyone applying for a position at Troutman Pepper is RUN.
