Truist Relationship Banker interview questions

Very simple and easy. The first step in the process is an automated phone interview where you are called, asked a series of questions and then your responses are recorded for HR to review. If they like what they hear you will be contacted by a recruiter or someone in HR to set up a face to face interview with the direct manager of the position you are applying for. Depending upon the position you are applying for - whether it is in a branch or a corporate/call center position - will determine whether you have two interviews or three interviews. Branch positions usually consist of the phone interview and the in person interview with the manager and then you get a decision. I am a former Truist employee so I didn't have to do the phone interview I was just sent straight through to the Branch Manager for an in person interview. She was very nice and professional. I felt very comfortable in the interview and I believe it went very well. I am now waiting to hear of her decision on the position. UPDATE: As of 06/06/2023 I am still waiting to hear about a decision regarding this position. This has been a much longer process than it was the first time that I was hired at Truist. I knew that same day the first time that I had been selected for the opening I interviewed for. It has been almost three weeks since I interviewed for this opening and as of last Friday the recruiter told me that the manager is still wrapping up interviews and no decision has been made. UPDATE: As of 06/14/2023 I am still waiting to hear of a decision for this position. I was informed that the manager finished wrapping up interviews last Wednesday 06/07 but no decision has been made yet as to who will fill it. UPDATE: As of 06/21/2023 there has still been no decision made on this position. The position has since been taken down off of Truist career site and the job boards it was posted on (Indeed and others) but it hasn't been filled. UPDATE: Finally on 06/22/2023 I was informed that I had not been selected for this position. I already knew when multiple weeks passed without having contact that I had not been selected. I continued to reach out anyway because the way that this process was handled was very unprofessional. Applicants place a lot of time and effort into the application and interview process and it is highly unprofessional to disrespect the time of applicants by keeping them in the wind for weeks at a time with no answer or information as to what is going on during the application process. I would not recommend you applying to this company or any of its posted positions.

Met with two executive officials who were very courteous and showed genuine curiosity about me. Basic interview questions focused on customer service while also maintaining a casual atmosphere. Overall the process was enjoyable and was less stressful than I thought it would be.
