I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Trupanion (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2019
Interview
The interview process began with the internal recruiter reaching out and conducting a roughly 30 min phone interview. That piece was somewhat informal; them going over the workplace, culture, expectations etc and seeing if I was interested based on that, as well as questions about why I was looking for a new position and my general work history. The second round was an in-person interview with three individuals, each representing a different market (West, Central, East). Each portion was 30 min long, and consisted of what I consider to be fairly standard interview questions, mostly focused on situational questions about my work experience. I was contacted within a few days of the interview about a job offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Trupanion (Clinton, NC)
Interview
Very easy. They were very easy to talk Simple questions to get to know you better and also discussed the company a little. She was very nice and we laughed and talked one of the easiest interviews I’ve ever had
I had an initial phone interview and a follow up video interview. Both interviews were very pleasant and I enjoyed speaking with each person. I enjoyed learning more about the position and the company as a whole.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Trupanion (Emmitsburg, MD) in May 2023
Interview
Very easy and quick process. Found out that I didn’t get the position fairly quickly as well. I feel like I didn’t answer questions in the way that they wanted and had I known what they were looking for, things would have gone differently.
Thank you for your interest in Trupanion and for sharing your experience! I am sorry to hear that your recent interview did not bring you the good news you were hoping for, but I encourage you to keep an eye on our careers page.
