Coordination with the recruiter was poor—I never received a clear description of the exact role, nor any context about who I’d be speaking with or why. During one round, the person later revealed to be the director of sales engineering (listed under a different title) pointedly asked why I would even want this position, suggesting it didn’t align with my past projects, which further underscored the overall lack of clarity.
