Truveta Communications Manager interview questions

I completed two interviews - one screen with the internal recruiter, and one interview with the hiring manager. Both went well and shortly after the second interview, the recruiter told me they'd like to move me forward in the process and asked for a writing sample. I provided that and I was told they'd be in touch to schedule the next interview. I knew that they were still interviewing people for the next 1-2 weeks so I waited to hear back. I followed up at the 1.5 week point, and then again after two weeks and it wasn't until the following week that the recruiter emailed me back admitting she "thought I had sent you a follow up last week" and then saying while the team loved meeting me, they went with another candidate. It was disappointing and frustrating to be strung along and even have a recruiter admit to me they failed to email me a week before they actually did. If Truveta wasn't totally sure they would move me forward, they should not have told me I was moved to the next round right after the interview.
