I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Truveta in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process was efficient and pleasant . The recruiters are very communicative and responded promptly with follow ups or answers to any questions I had. When interviewing with the team, people asked thoughtful questions and were very engaging and professional. I appreciated how it felt like a conversation, and no one was asking me any trick questions. Really couldn't have asked for a better recruiting process.
The process was unnecessarily lengthy. 1 recruiter interview, a coding assessment, and 4 team member interviews just seems like a waste of time for everyone involved, especially when it ends without an offer. If they put everyone into a panel interview (which is the norm in my experience) rather than into 4 separate calls, it could have been done in a week. It also seemed like everyone was on a different page as to what the role would actually entail, what the person in the role would be doing, and what they needed to know. Everyone I talked to was kind; the process just seemed disorganized and it felt like the culture would have been cutthroat (they really seem to play into the whole “we’re a startup, you won’t have a life outside of here” trope). What they’re doing is cool and I hope it succeeds, but I don’t think I will be applying here again.
