Was reached out to by a recruiter after applying. Was to hear back about next steps in a couple days, but it kept getting pushed back. They made an offer to another candidate, but was then considered for a contract to hire role. The interviewer for that role was very matter a fact right from the begging. She then flat out told me during the interview that I wasn't a fit. I was excited about the opportunity, but after that interview realized it wouldn’’t be a place I’d like to work. I was upset over the whole experience I actually cried after it. The interviewer could tell I wasn’t happy with how it all went down during the end and sent a follow up, but it didn’t change my mind too much.
