Applied online, received an email to set up an interview via MS teams. The interview was not with a hiring manager; but, with one of the CIO/Co-Founders, a 15-minute interview. Informed that the next step was a tech interview round and to expect something within 3-days. Sent a follow-up email, thanking for the interview. Received email from another CIO/Co-Founder expressing definite interest and to send resume. Followed-up and they had already selected someone. If you had already selected someone, then state so, never violate your own personal integrity and your security clearance by being deceitful.
